You'll have your meals already made, and your family will be happy and you'll be relieved because you won't have to rush to make a meal, just use what's already made.
Hamburger Pie
POTS & PANS USED 1 9-inch pie pan 1 Medium saucepan 1 Medium skillet INGREDIENTS 1. 1-11/2 Pounds Ground Beef or Ground Turkey 2. Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (2 – 2 ½ Packages) 3. 1 8-onunce can of corn 4. 1 8-ounce can of green beans 5. 1 egg 6. 1 package grated/shredded cheese (use what you like: Sharp, Mild Monterey Jack) 7. 1 can mushroom soup (you can use the one with roasted garlic it gives it a rich flavor) 8. Salt, Pepper, dash of oregano, dash of basil for flavor 9. 4 tablespoons of chopped onions 10. 1 teaspoon olive oil/vegetable oil 11. 1 tablespoon each Worcestershire sauce & teriyaki sauce PREHEAT OVEN TO 300-325 DEGREES 1. Pour in teaspoon of oil into skillet and sauté your onions and garlic 2. Put in ground beef, let it brown a little, then add Worcestershire and teriyaki sauce, salt, pepper, oregano and basil until thoroughly done (brown) 3. Drain ground beef and put in a medium sauce pan on low heat 4. Prepare Pie crust by using Crescent rolls and roll/shape the bottom and sides of your pan with package 1 of the rolls. Using your egg, beat the yoke and brush half of the egg onto the bottom and sides of the crust and set aside. 5. Open your cans of corn, green beans and cream of mushroom soup to your ground beef. Mix ingredients and keep on low heat for about 7-8 minutes. 6. Spoon 1 layer of your meat mixture into the pie crust and then adding a layer of cheese, alternating until the pie crust in ¼ inch from the top of the pan. 7. Open your 2nd package of Crescent Rolls and place on top of the meat mixture, forming your cover/top of the pie. 8. Poke holes in the top of the pie crust. 9. Using the left over egg mixture, brush over the top of the pie crust. 10. Put pie in oven and bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. 11. Serve and eat.
